Do you ever have days or weeks (or longer?) where you just don’t feel like yourself? Maybe you have something going on in your life that’s unpleasant, or maybe you’re just feeling blah for no reason. Well, you guys, that is me this week. On both accounts.
For whatever reason, I’ve not been sleeping well, my diet has been off, I’ve had trouble drinking enough water (even though I’ve forced myself to power through), and my workouts have been garbage (because I’m restricted, uninspired, and not feeling well).
Did you know that when I feel this way, everything else in my life seems terrible? Dramatic? Exhausting? Lame? Unfortunate? Negative? Unsatisfactory? A real bummer? Crummy? The actual worst? Etc. It always makes me think of this quote:
What it means to me is this: We’re all in charge our moods. If we want to sit around and feel lame, then that’s what the universe will return to us. If we want to get out of our funk, meditate, manifest your destiny, and decide to be happy, then guess what? The universe has positive vibes to share with us!
So, I’m gonna go work on finding ways to stay positive, now. And to me that means getting my diet back on track first and foremost. Want a kick ass smoothie recipe? You got it. I would add 1 scoop Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides, and a handful of spinach. You can also sub peanut butter for almond butter if you’re so inclined.
